pLaYiNg CaTcH-uP

I have been so busy lately, many things going on at once. Our kitchen is being refinished. The cabinets are being sanded in order to re-stain and varnish. The walls will be painted and the counters tiled.


Here is the new window that was installed for me, I LOVE it!!
I found this china closet at a second hand store. I plan on repainting it. It has three shelves that go in the inside and I plan on adding small LED lights. As you can see, Maddie has already placed her things on the insIde!
I was out doing some shopping one day and Daddy had gotten an important phone call. So, Maddie amused herself with bathroom cups and packing peanuts. This was a really cool pic that Daddy caught!

These were taken the last week of April. We had a day that was over 80 degrees, so Maddie and Daddie hopped into the pool to cool off!

10. Lima beans~ yuck!

9. Anchovies~won't eat them alone but I like the taste they leave on pizza when you pick them off (strange, I know).

8. Olives~though I do like the black ones on pizza.

EaStEr ATC's AnD mY bUsY mOnTh

I spent the evening making these 4 fun Easter ATC's. The second one "Egg Hunt" will be used for the TGIF "Egg" theme ATC swap on AlteredDesigns Yahoo group. Now I need to get busy making 4 egg shaped ATC's and a pair of "Green" (as in recycled) earrings for TheLatestTrendsinMixedMediaArts Yahoo group. 6 Charms for a blog swap. 6 tip-in pages for the books we are doing on MixedMediaMadams Yahoo group. 29 "Butterfly" pages for the Itty Bitty Book swap on the RedLead Yahoo group. Get stuff listed on my Etsy shop AND...I'm sure there is something that I am forgetting but I have a VERY busy month ahead! Also, amongst all of that I have Power Point, an upcoming trip to Ohio, house remodeling, flower planting, garden preparing, more blogging, house cleaning, laundry....the list goes on and on and on and........I am exhausted just thinking about it all!!
