My First VoxBox from Influenster!!

I was extremely excited to be picked to receive the Mama Voxbox from Influenster. I got a box to test and review the products and share it on my blog and Facebook  The Mama Voxbox is aimed at mothers,  so you will get products to pamper yourself and something you can share with your kids.
When I got the email that I was picked to receive a box I was informed me that it would include BB cream from Ponds.

In this box:

Annie's Rice Pasta & Cheddar Gluten free Microwavable Mac & Cheese
BelVita Soft Baked Breakfast Biscuit
Dr. Scholl's for her comfort insoles
Pond's Luminous Finish BB+ Cream x 2 in Light and Medium
Info card.

The BelVita I ate right away, it was moist and... banana...YUM!!  It's so moist it falls a part very easy.
Now on to the BB cream, I love this one. It's light to medium coverage. Only thing is that it's a bit to light, this one I gave to a friend, the medium was a better choice for my skin tone.
The box came with 2 BB creams one in Light and one in Medium.

Ponds and Influenster had a Twitter party and I was one of 10 winner to receive the full line of Ponds products along with a $50 American Express gift card!! How cool is that??

"I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes."

Cottonelle Moist Wipes Review

Most of the time, toilet paper is enough. However, on certain occasions you need that extra clean. Cottonelle Fresh Care Flush-able Cleansing Cloths are a great option. In resealable containers, they are usable by all ages, and they provide a helping hand in cleaning. They are strong enough to hold up (and not let fingers poke through) yet soft enough that they provide a comfortable experience. This review is from receiving a free sample from CrowdTap.

My oldest daughter, who is in school for nursing, asked me to make scarves. She is planning on taking them to the hospital around the holidays and distribute them in the childrens ward. She has such a big heart and I am so proud of her!

MiRaLAX cAn HeLp - PrOdUcT rEvIeW

Most people are uncomfortable talking about bodily functions but I am speaking out. Most products I have tried for constipation have a chalky, gritty, lumpy or just plain nasty taste to them. NOT MiraLAX! I purposely chose to try this product in water, half expecting it to be just as nasty as other products I've tried. After stirring it into the water it was clear to see that it had no color, it had no smell to it and it had absolutely NO taste!! Bzzagent explains that Miralax empowers the water you drink to do more, drawing water into your colon to unblock it gently. Now I know that there is something that can help, doesn't look, smell or taste bad, and is gentle to the body.  As BzzAgent puts it,"When you have a headache, you take something right away. When you have heartburn, you don't hesitate to seek relief. So why is it that when you feel constipated, you wait?" I'm telling you that this product is no reason to wait!

If you would like a chance to win the PottyCover to try for yourself leave me a message below telling me about your most embarrassing public bathroom experience with your child. I will pick a winner at random on July 8th.

Product review

I had the chance to review the

PottyCover , and it made my daughter a little less afraid of the public self flushing toilets.  It is a disposable toilet seat cover for children that covers the sides and the front of the toilet, to keep away germs at public rest-rooms.  It is made of non-woven fabric coated with a layer of plastic, creating a waterproof barrier between the toilet and the child. This product has the largest coverage of all seat covers on the market and for added convenience, each seat cover is individually packaged in a small, easy to open bag that makes it super easy to always keep one or two in a purse or a back pocket.

Using a public rest-room with a young child could be very stressful, but with PottyCovers the whole family can feel safe knowing that even at the filthiest bathrooms they will be protected from germs. They designed this product for kids, but it has become a must-have travel item for many of their adult customers. Check out their website here http://www.pottycover.com/

A pack of PottyCover sells for $5.99 and it is available on AmazonEbay, all Buy Buy Baby  stores around the country and at select Bed Bath & Beyond stores.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

bAcK tO cRaFtInG, bAcK tO LiFe

This week I started making these "cupcakes" They are actually wooden balls covered in yarn and "sprinkled" with paper punches as the "confetti". I came up with a packaging idea which I plan on working on tomorrow. I'll post pics once I have them completed. I may also be offering them for sale on my Etsy shop. I really need to get that back up and running. I hadn't realized that I haven't posted on here in months as I was going through so much physical pain with the Fibro. I recently started a water workout designed for people with Arthritis & Fibromyalgia and now with this being my third week of the workouts I;m actually beginning to feel so much more alive! I see many more good days to come and I'm really excited to get back to doing more "art"!

I'm really looking forward to another Bead Soup Party. I really had fun the last round and made some really neat jewelry pieces that took me further in my beading and creating than I thought possible!
